Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable connection of a power source having unknown polarity by detecting the polarity of a DC power source through a polarity detecting circuit and controlling a switch circuit through a switch control circuit such that the output terminal thereof has same polarity at all times.
CONSTITUTION: When a DC power source E is connected, a polarity detection circuit 7 detects the polarity thereof and feeds a polarity signal to a switch control circuit 8. The switch control circuit 8 receives the polarity signal and controls switch circuits 5, 6 such that the polarity of the output terminals 3, 4 is respectively plus and minus.
