PURPOSE: To maintain the constant pouring molten metal quantity and to keep the pouring velocity at the prescribed level by controlling opening/closing of a nozzle and pouring time by a microcomputor based on signal of weight sensor.
CONSTITUTION: Factors for pouring molten metal weight Q and a ladle 2 are inputted to a microcomputor and the nozzle 7 is closed by a nozzle-stopper 9 and an electrode 5 is raised up. Under this condition, the molten metal 1 is poured into the ladle 2 and the molten metal weight W in the ladle 2 is measured by load-cell to judge whether it is reached to the prescribed weight W0 or not. At the time of being W≥W0, necessary pouring time S is operated from the necessary pouring quantity Q and pouring weight W. Next, based on the command of the pouring time S found, the solenoid valve for nozzle- stopped driving device is opened, and the nozzle-stopper 9 is raised to open the nozzle 7 and also a display lamp is turned on. When the pouring of necessary molten metal quantity W is completed, the nozzle-stopper 9 is returned back, to start again measurement of the molten metal weight W.
