PURPOSE: To shorten a conveyance distance so as to shorten the time for pouring and to prevent the decrease of a molten metal temp. by driving a lifting mechanism which moves a ladle in a vertical direction into the molten metal in a crucible and to ladle the molten metal by a rotating mechanism which turns the ladle to make pouring.
CONSTITUTION: An air cylinder 14, etc., on a lifting frame 9 and the ladle 4 are guided by guides 11, 11 and guide bars 10, 10 so as to descend to the crucible 5 side when a cylinder 12 is extended. The descending is once stopped by molten metal surface detecting electrodes 24, 24 when the ladle 4 descends down to the position where the molten metal 6 enters the ladle. The necessary time until the molten metal 6 is ladled into the ladle 4 is measured by a timer and thereafter the ladle 4 is lifted by the shrinkage of the cylinder 12. A rack 15 is lowered by the extension of a cylinder 14 to turn a driving shaft 18 in a counter-clockwise direction by which a supporting arm 19 and the ladle 4 are turned around a driven shaft 21 in a counter-clockwise direction. The molten metal is thus poured from a spout 23 into a pouring port 7.
