Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic power control circuit in which power control is applied to signals of a plurality of frequencies.
SOLUTION: The respective outputs of an amplifier 12 for a GSM band and an amplifier 22 for a DCS band are inputted to a power detection circuit 14 and selectively switched according to a control signal from a switching control terminal 17. The output of a selected signal is compared with a reference voltage by a comparator circuit 16 for the GSM band or a comparator circuit 26 for the DCS band, and the gain of the amplifier 12 for the GSM band or the amplifier 22 of the DCS band is controlled by the compared output. The power detection circuit 14 is equipped with a current switching circuit capable of generating two kinds of detected currents having different component levels by each frequency band.
