Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically remove and recover concrete pieces crushed by breaking reinforced concrete road surface by water jet without relying upon manual labor.
SOLUTION: A guide rod 12 is erected to a frame 9 which is supported by a gantry type frame 5 and moves laterally, and a sliding frame 13 slidable back and forth is fitted to the rod 12. A manifold 14 with a nozzle 16 journaled to the sliding frame is rotated by interlocking with the forward and retreat of the sliding frame thereby creating an air current scooped up and the crushed pieces are blown up and absorbed by a vacuum hose 55.
