PURPOSE: To reduce and output the drawn figure of vector data without deletion and also display a state wherein it protrudes by providing a means which allows an operator to select a process for a case where the drawing range of the vector data exceeds the drawing range of a graphic output device.

CONSTITUTION: This system consists of a figure drawing range calculation device 11, a protrusion process selecting device 12, a protrusion process decision device 13, an error display device 14, a vector data storage device 15, and a vector data reduction device 16. Consequently, the output figure is outputted and the state wherein the output figure protrudes is displayed as the operator intends.
