Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fully automatic device checking a kind and a geometric shape of each drill bit, regrinding the cutting tip of the drill bit, repositioning a locating ring on a shank part of the drill bit, and cleaning and packaging the drill bit.
SOLUTION: This device has a pair of cassette trays 54 installed to a housing, a grinding assembly 30, an optical assembly 118, a main cleaning assembly 80, an auxiliary cleaning assembly 180, a reversing assembly 85, a work head assembly 96, a striking assembly, and a loader assembly 62. A programmable control device is electrically connected to each assembly, while allowing simultaneous execution of the regrinding process of the cutting tip and the repositioning process of the locating ring for two drill bits.
