Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the maintenance performance by detecting the transmission speed of a relay line accommodated by an exchange and setting the transmission speed of the relay line automatically.
CONSTITUTION: A transmission speed detection circuit 4 detects the transmission speed of relay lines 8, 9 from a relay line clock 11, selects an internal clock corresponding to the transmission speed among internal clocks 12, 13 received from clock generating circuits 2, 3 and sends the selected clock to a synchronization control signal generating circuit 5 and a relay line transmission circuit 7 as an internal clock 14. Then the transmission speed of the relay lines 8, 9 is automatically set. Thus, the setting error is prevented.
