PURPOSE: To attain the restart quickly from an unapplied check package job even though the system operation is discontinued by a trouble occurred in a job execution mode, by providing a pre-operation job execution history memory device to record the execution history.

CONSTITUTION: A job execution state of a pre-operation mode where the system operation is stopped by a system trouble is recorded to a pre-operation job execution history memory device 2 serving as an external memory device. Thus a job execution history replacement means 3 is started to extract a recorded job out of the device 2 and to store it in a job execution history recording area 4 and at the same time decides the job state. Then the job state of the area 4 is changed to an output queuing (abnormal) mode from an under- execution mode in case the relevant job is under execution in a pre-operation mode. Thus the job execution is skipped. Then the job is automatically restarted from the check package job that is not supplied yet to the system via an execution job schedule description memory device 1, a job starting means 6, etc. In such a way the quick restart from an unapplied check package job is attained.
