To provide an automatic retrieving device for cigarette butts which may keep stable running of a belt, may compulsively remove contaminant and may easily carry maintenance work out by bringing merits of driving method of a metal belt to bear.

A scaffolding 2 is composed with a separable component. A carrier belt 15 to be installed inside of the scaffolding is a belt made of 0.1mm stainless steel. Lug parts 22a to 26a preventing the belt to wave are formed on the both peripheries of a driving roller 21 and rotating rollers 22 to 26. A scraper 28, abutting to the both faces of the belt, is installed and placed opposingly on a returning side of the scaffolding to compulsively scrape off contaminant on the belt front face. A microswitch 31 for driving conveyer system is installed to a frame body, which removably stows a container 30 for retrieved cigarette butt.
