PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the carrying and chucking operation of a sample tube with one mechanism, simplify its control, increase the number of sample tubes to be held more, and reduce the size and cost.
SOLUTION: A recessed part 34 is formed in the position of the circumferential edge part 33a of a disc plate 33 corresponding to just above a sample inlet port 22a, and a prescribed number of sleeves 35, 37 to insert sample tubes 38 are mounted on a turn table 25 and the plate 33. Both the tables 25, 33 and the sleeves 35, 57 are integrally rotated by the rotating force of an ultrasonic motor 30. When the sleeves 35, 37 reach the position conformed to the recessed part 34 of the plate 33, the circumferential edge part 33a of the plate 33 is not protruded into the inner holes 35a, 37a of the sleeves 35, 37, and when they reach the position not conformed to the recessed part 34 of the plate 33, the circumferential edge part 33a of the plate 33 is protruded into the inner holes 35a, 37a of the sleeves 35, 37 to engagingly lock and hold the sample tubes 38.
