PURPOSE: To shorten analysis time by calculating the preprocessing time required to inject the next sample to be analyzed from the condition of the sample and starting the preprocessing of the next analysis before the analysis currently being taken ends.
CONSTITUTION: A system controller SC which controls individual analyzing operations of liquid chromatographs while transmitting a signal among plural unit devices constituting analyzing equipment is connected to an automatic sample AJ through an interface SIO for communication and the waiting time required for the preprocessing of the sample is calculated automatically from the injection condition to be analyzed. Then, an injector start instruction is transferred from the SC to the AJ the waiting time before sample injection time determined by a time program previously. Therefore, preprocessing of the next analysis is carried out in parallel from the middle of the current analysis process being carried out to drastically shorten the analysis time.
