Abstract:
PURPOSE: To set the lowering position of a catcher in proper range while to prevent the fault due to the incomplete fastening, by opening the screw holding section of the catcher through a cam.
CONSTITUTION: A catcher 11 having a spring 12 for biasing in the direction of a bit around the pins 10, 10 is secured to the lower end of a cylinder 19 moving with the lowering of a bit 8, while a catcher cam 14 slidably engaging with the large and small diameter sections 11a, 11b of the catcher 11 is provided at the side face of the catcher 11 such that they are separated by a spring 15. A stopper 18 is fixed through a rod 16 to said catcher cam 14 such that the fixing position is variable. 28 is a board fixed to the machine table.
