Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it cannot be found by an automatic screwdriver for tightening a screw in accordance with angle rules that a female screw is destroyed by the excessive tightening of a screw.
SOLUTION: An automatic screwdriver has a control unit 5 in which a target rotating angle of a screw to be tightened with preset-range tightening torque and an idling current value corresponding to torque produced when a female screw for a work is destroyed and idling are stored to provide for tightening of a screw until the rotating angle of a motor 2 reaches a target rotating angel, detection of a current value for the motor 2 by a current detecting part 12 and comparison with an idling current value.
