PURPOSE: To perform a sealing at a target sealing location by digitally computing the control quantity.
CONSTITUTION: A long heat-weldable packaging film F has a photoelectric tube mark P with a pitch which is equivalent to the length of an article to be packaged. Such a packaging film F is fed around a rotary element from the drawing inside the rotating direction in a state wherein the packaging film F is doubly folded into a V-form gutter shape by a folding guide 9. Then, a partition sealing is performed, and an article is filled in the partitioned packaging bag from a quantity measure, and the upper edges of openings of the continuous partitioned packaging bag are sealed by a horizontal sealing means. Such a packaging film F is used for an automatic packaging machine. Then, the feeding tension in the longitudinal direction of the packaging film F is controlled by a photoelectric tube mark pitch controlling means 4. Then, an automatic sealing interval adjusting device is used for an automatic packaging machine which performs a partition sealing with the photoelectric tube mark P as a target. The photoelectric tube mark pitch controlling means 4 is equipped with a packaging film F feeding-braking means and rotary encoder. Then, an error between a signal which catches the photoelectric tube mark P being transmitted from a photoelectric tube 5, and a base point is obtained by the rotary encoder, and by doing so, a control is performed so that the error may become as close to zero as possible.
