PURPOSE: To check an abnormality immediately due to the runaway of a CPU by correcting a setting data when the sent setting data is destroyed, sending it to an automatic accident warning device and information the operation of a watchdog timer to an operator.

CONSTITUTION: When the CPU 12 of a terminal equipment runs away due to lightning surge, noise, etc., and a watchdog timer 18 is in operation, it is discriminated by a watchdog timer identification circuit 20, the terminal equipment sends a setting data stored in a memory 15 of the terminal equipment to a center equipment, the center equipment discriminates whether or not the setting data is destroyed and corrects the data when the correction is required. Then the corrected setting data is sent to the terminal equipment to correct the setting data in the terminal equipment and informs the operation of the watchdog timer to the center equipment and the center equipment informs the operation of the watchdog timer to the operator. Thus, the abnormality due to the runaway of the CPU 12 of the terminal equipment is checked immediately.
