PURPOSE: To automatically set cone type road sign bodies over a road surface at definite intervals.
CONSTITUTION: Paired right and left holding belts 8 and 9 which are revolved in the vertical planes, are mounted in parallel on a load carrying truck 1, and a distance between the holding belts 8 and 9 is made wider than the large diameter section of each cone type road sign body 2 at the rearward side, but is made narrower as the belts go forward. The appropriate place of a wide section between the upper running section of each holding belt 8 and 9 is constituted to be a sign body delivery section 13, a wide section between the lower running sections of the belts is constituted to be a sign body separation section 14, and the lower running sections are run while being kept close to a road surface. Each cone type road sign body 2 is inserted in between the holding belts 8 and 9 while being kept up-side down from the delivery section 13, and is carried to the lower running section side while being held by the holding belts 8 and 9, so that each cone type road sign body 2 is set on the road surface with the holding of the holding belts 8 and 9 released when the sign body comes up to the separation section 14.
