CONSTITUTION: When a first sewing machine 30F and/or a second sewing machine 30R executes a sewing work, a moving distance in its X axis direction and/or Y axis direction can be controlled, based on the seam as a reference. The device is provided with a work holding means consisting of a work receiver 42 provided between a first supporting base 16F and a second supporting base 16R for moving in the X axis direction placed on a base 10, that is, between a first sewing machine 30F and a second sewing machine 30R and a work holder 51 for pressing a material 90 to be sewn from the upper face of the work receiver 42. During the work sewn by a first sewing machine 30F and a second sewing machine 30R, its holding can be continued, therefore, even if there is a timewise shift of the sewing work between a first sewing machine 30F and a second sewing machine 30R, it does not occur that the symmetry is spoiled, and a pattern shift of the left and the right is generated.
