Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically stack multiple lines of channel steels and prevent the damage of the channel steels at lower corner sections by wires after bundling by forming both lower corner sections with the angular section of a channel steel single body in the stacked attitude of the channel steels.
CONSTITUTION: This automatic stacking device for a channel C is arranged with the third stopper member 41 capable of entering or retreating to the front of the second stopper member 39 for preventing a center section from being largely bent and the channel steel C supported by it from being dragged backward when each traverse base 5 is retreated and exerting the same function as that of the second stopper member 39. The first stopper member 34 bringing the channel steel C supported by each traverse base 5 into contact and determining the advance end position when each traverse base 5 is advanced at the upper end can be selectively fixed at two positions along the longitudinal direction.
