Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in vehicular comfort owing to an engine stop, with reference to an automatic start control device for a vehicular engine.
SOLUTION: In a state where an engine is automatically stopped, an engine re-start prohibiting condition is turned not to be satisfied by elapsing a predetermined time after the engine stop. Then if either one of a starting basic condition reflecting a vehicular driving off intention of a driver, or a forced starting condition forcibly starting the engine in a vehicular predetermined state is satisfied, the engine is forcibly re-started by means of an engine re-starting means, thereby preventing reduction in vehicular comfort owing to the engine stop.
