To start an engine by supplying the starting fuel for increasing the amount of the fuel at starting, as well as to prevent the starting fuel from being kept to supply in the starting failure.
An electromagnetic valve 13 is installed in a starting fuel supply passage to supply the starting fuel for increasing the amount of the fuel at starting separately from a fuel supply passage to supply the regular fuel into an intake path, and a base of a transistor TR1 to control the electromagnetic valve is controlled by an IC14a. When an integrated value of the number of times of engine rotation at the starting control reaches a predetermined value, the electromagnetic valve is closed, and the supply of increased amount of fuel is stopped regardless of the other conditions. When the start fails, the further starting fuel supply is prevented to enable prevention of so called fogging. The predetermined value of the integrated value is stored in a map in advance as the number of times for the temperature so as to realize a highly precise control.
