Abstract:
PURPOSE:To guide a guide missile to a target at high accuracy by changing the amount of feed back of a rate gyro to a compensating circuit of yaw and pitch depending on whether a follow-up device is locking on to the target or not. CONSTITUTION:Rotation angular velocity signals of each axis detected by rate gyros 2, 4 of a pitch-yaw system are inputted to compensating circuits 8, 13 through gain changing circuits 15 and 16 to which high gain is set, and become a required steering command by the integration element and phase compensation element. To correct dumping of the fuselage, the signals are inputted to steering devices 9 and 14 by combining with gyros 2, 4 to maintain the attitude angle constant. After locking on the target, an acceleration command is added and gains of gain changing circuits 15, 16 are set low. Consequently, a responding command to acceleration command and the accuracy are improved and action for keeping the attitude ngle of the fuselage becomes weak. Thus, the flying body receives acceleration commands corresponding to errors between said gain and the target.
