Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic storage facility having high efficiency of delivery and storage work of baggage.SOLUTION: Plural storage shelves 11, 12 which are provided in multiple steps and which can store a large amount of baggage C, and transport means 20, 30 for transporting the baggage C between the storage shelves 11 and the like and delivery and storage areas 71, 72, are provided in an automatic storage facility 100 for baggage. The automatic storage facility has the first transport means 20 for moving the baggage C in a horizontal direction, and the second transport means 30 having a movable table 40 for moving the baggage C in a vertical direction and mounting the baggage thereon and capable of moving in the horizontal direction. The first transport means 20 receives and delivers the baggage C between the delivery and storage areas 71 and the like and the second transport means 30, and the second transport means 30 receives and delivers the baggage C between the first transport means 20 and the storage shelves 11 and the like, and moves the baggage C in the vertical direction.
