An automatic storage system for two-wheeled vehicles includes a fixed reception structure (7) which can lock two-wheeled vehicles (1). Each of the two-wheeled vehicles (1) includes a removable rechargeable battery (9), and a signal device (9a) for imparting a battery removal signal to a user when the two-wheeled vehicle (1) is locked to the reception structure (7) by the user without removing the battery (9) from the two-wheeled vehicle (1).
