To provide an automatic teeming device for casting where the improvement of the weighing precision in teeming weight of molten metal to a mold can be more stably attained, and to provide a method therefor.
In a state where a funnel member 84 having a storage part capable of storing molten metal in an amount equivalent to the teeming amount to one of molds and an orifice part composed of a communication path of allowing the storage part to communicate with the outside toward the lower part is arranged at the upper part of the mold, the molten metal stored in a ladle 12 is made to flow inside the storage part of the funnel member 84 by the tilting of the ladle 12 by a tilting means 36, and, on the other hand, the tilting amount of the ladle 12 is decreased, thus when the decrease in the storing weight of the molten metal in the ladle 12 calculated by calculating means 74, 27 is made coincident with the teeming amount to one of the molds, the flowing of the molten metal from the inside of the funnel 12 into the storage part of the funnel member 84 is stopped.
