To provide an automatic teller system for allowing the manager of the setting place to execute a restoring operation such as paper money removal when any paper money conveyance failure is occurred in the setting place of an automatic teller machine.

This automatic teller system is provided with a manageable limit sum confirming means for inquiring the manager of the setting place of an automatic teller machine where any conveyance failure is generated for a manageable limit sum, a management sum comparing means for comparing the manageable sum obtained by the manageable limit sum confirming means with a cash balance remaining in the conveyance failure part obtained from a conveyance failure notice. When the manageable limit sum exceeds the cash balance pertinent to the conveyance failure part from the result of the management sum comparing means, apparent money payment processing to temporarily pay the sum equivalent to the cash balance to the account of the manager of the setting place of the automatic teller machine is executed, and then when the restoration processing of the conveyance failure part is completed by the manager, money reception processing is executed.
