Abstract:
To provide an automatic transaction device improved for a deletion process of magnetic information from a magnetic stripe included in a cash card.SOLUTION: This automatic transaction device is characterized by comprising: magnetic reading means for reading magnetic information from a magnetic stripe of an inserted card; magnetic information deletion means for deleting all or a part of the magnetic information from the magnetic stripe; magnetic level detection means for detecting the magnetic level of the magnetic stripe; and control means for comparing the deleted/changed magnetic information with the magnetic information read by the magnetic reading means if the magnetic level detection means detects a magnetic level lower than a first threshold value when all or a part of the magnetic information is deleted/changed by using the magnetic information deletion means, and executes determination to regard the deletion/changing of the magnetic information as a success if both match each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
