Abstract:

PURPOSE: To control the temperature in an object to be heated at a desired degree, by controlling the flow rate of gas by detecting the temperature in the object to be heated by a thermo-sensitive element made such as of bimetal, and by transmitting the movement of the operative point of a thermo-sensitive element to a valve.

CONSTITUTION: A thermo-sensor 1 is provided in a temperature detecting part 4 so as to detect the temperature in an object to be heated 20 positioned above a burner 18. An operative point 2 which changes in the direction of 'A' at the time the detected temperature is being high and in the direction of 'B' at the time the temperature is being low is provided at the other end of a thermo-sensor 1, coming in contact with one end of a communication means 3. A valve spindle 8 with a valve 11 is connected to the other end of a communication means 3. When the temperature in the object to be heated 20 is increased, the operative point 2 of a thermo-sensor 1 is moved to the direction of 'A', while the communication means 3 is turned round in the direction of 'C', which moves the valve spindle 8 and the valve 11 in the direction of 'E'. By this movement, the open area of a valve is reduced and the flow rate of gas is decreased. When the temperature in the object to be heated 20 is lowered, the flow rate of gas is increased by the reverse movement.
