Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic tension mechanism that can realize an automatic tension of a chain and absorb an elongation of the chain and a sterilizer comprising the same.SOLUTION: In the automatic tension mechanism which has a first transmission system 16 for receiving the driving force of a driving source 20 to convey a conveyor and a second transmission system 18 for controlling the transmission of the driving force from the driving source 20 to the first transmission system 16, the first transmission system 16 includes a first sprocket wheel 30 fixed on the rotary shaft, a first chain C keeping the conveyor 22 coupled and stretched over the first sprocket wheel 30, and a sagging removal mechanism for removing sagging of the first chain C, and the second transmission system 18 includes a second sprocket wheel 48 provided so as to be rotatable with the rotary shaft or relatively to the rotary shaft to have teeth in a smaller number than the first sprocket wheel 30, a second chain D stretched over the second sprocket wheel 48, and a clutch mechanism that can get a torque transmitted from the second sprocket wheel 48.
