Abstract:
To provide an automatic tensioner capable of absorbing vibrational energy of a belt even when energizing force of an elastic member reduces since a friction member is abraded.
Microscopic clearance S is arranged between the outer periphery of a fixing shaft 1 and a rocking member 3. The outer periphery of the fixing shaft 1 is provided with a large number of grooves 14 for generating dynamic pressure when the rocking member 3 rocks. Silicone grease G as a viscous body is filled in the microscopic clearance S.
