Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic thread winding device capable of increasing the diameter of a package while arranging an insulation plate for prevention of entry of end thread and flying thread between two spindles and also capable of preventing the package from being damaged due to slip down of the insulated plate during the winding of a thread.
SOLUTION: Two spindles 3 and 4 are installed projectedly on a turret 2 mounted rotatably on a machine frame 1, and an insulating mechanism comprising a moving means 7 and an insulating plate 8 mounted on the moving means is arranged between two spindles 3 and 4. A device is moved crossingly in the moving direction of the moving means 7 at a slanted angle relative to an axis obtained by connecting the axes of two spindles 3 and 4. Also a frictional lockup stop mechanism is provided on the moving means 7.
