Abstract:
To provide an automatic ticket examination machine capable of smoothly transporting tickets.SOLUTION: An automatic ticket examination machine includes: a transport unit that transports a ticket; a regulating member that regulates a position of one end of a ticket transported by the transport unit in a width direction of the ticket; a guide positioned at a distance of a width of the ticket from the regulating member and movable in the width direction of the ticket; and a detection unit that detects a jam of the ticket being transported by the transport unit between the regulating member and the guide. When the detection unit detects the ticket jam, the automatic ticket examination machine vibrates the guide in the width direction of the ticket until a predetermined specified time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
