Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge (or collect) the normal train ticket of a precedent passenger and to end the ticket examining process for the precedent passenger if there are train tickets of plural users in the main body of the automatic ticket examining machine and a jam is caused.
SOLUTION: The automatic ticket examining machine, which performs an entry/exiting process according to data recorded on a train ticket thrown in the throw-in slot of the main body of the automatic ticket examining machine while the train ticket is carried from the throw-in slot to a discharge slot or ticket collection box through a conveyance path, is provided with a detecting means which detects the conveyance path being jammed with conveyed train tickets, an ejecting means which ejects the train ticket of the precedent passenger from the discharge slot or into the ticket collection box when there are train tickets of users in the main body of the automatic ticket examining machine and the train ticket of the passenger precedent to a train ticket causing the jam is a valid ticket allowing entry or exiting, and a notification means which gives a notice of the jam occurrence when the train ticket of the precedent passenger is ejected.
