Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction device that restrains a customer from doing violent operation.SOLUTION: An automatic transaction device 5 for performing transaction by communicating with a host computer according to operation by a customer comprises: medium handling units 31, 32 for reading out and writing in information including customer information for a transaction medium inserted into the automatic transaction device by the customer; a display unit 20 for displaying information on the transaction; detection units 23, 35 for detecting a failure of the display unit by violent operation from the customer; a screen failure recording unit 12a for recording screen failure information that allows a customer involved in transaction at the time of failure detection to be identified if the detection units detects a failure of the display unit; and a reminding unit 12b for having the display unit display a reminding screen to prevent the violent operation to the customer identified by the recorded screen failure information at the time of new transaction after the failure detection.
