PURPOSE: To confirm transaction history by means of a transaction card by taking in transaction history information from the history storage part of a center when a customer selects the inquiry of the transaction history and displaying and printing transaction history information taken in based on inquiry processing information to be outputted.

CONSTITUTION: A center file 24 is equipped with a history storage part 25, and a history area 25a is set corresponding to each account number of a custom er in this history storage part 25. When the customer decides the selection of the inquiry of transaction history and the transaction card is inserted by the selection of the inquiry, the transaction history information is taken in from a history storage part 24 of a center 20 based on the inquiry processing information. Further, this taken transaction history information is displayed on a display 12, and printed and outputted by a printer 9. Thus, the inquiry of the transaction history can be performed by using the transaction card.
