PURPOSE: To provide an automatic transaction device which is capable of improving service to customers and performing a smooth operation then a bankbook is used as a transaction medium.

CONSTITUTION: In an automatic transaction device 1 having processing pages according to plural kinds of transaction accounts and processing a slip shape transaction medium to which page discrimination information is imparted to each page by using a transaction medium processing means 23, an input means selecting transaction accounts, a page control means controlling the inserted page of the transaction page inserted by the transaction medium processing means 23 and the processing pages according to plural kinds of transaction accounts and judging the necessity of revised pages and a revised page processing means performing a revised page processing to the processing page where the page of the transaction medium is suited to the transaction account selected by the input means based on the judgment of the necessity of revised pages by a page control means are provided. By this constitution, even when the transaction medium is inserted in a state that a customer opens an erroneous page which is not compatible to the transaction account, a proper revised page processing can be automatically performed, the improvement of the service to customers and a smoothe operation can be performed.
