Abstract:
PURPOSE:To execute off-line transaction processing even if a line is abnormal, by providing an off-line transaction processing means, which performs the money reception/payment processing operation without communicating with a center if abnormality occurs on the line, and an off-line transaction storage means where transaction data of this off-line transaction processing means is stored. CONSTITUTION:An off-line transaction flag M1 is provided in a RAM 10b connected to a master CPU 10 of a main control part 11; and if communication with the center is impossible because of abnormality of the line, the execution of the off-line transaction processing is stored. The off-line transaction flag M1 is reset when off-line transaction data are transmitted to the center. An off-line transaction storage area M2 is provided in a floppy disk device 26 of an auxiliary control part 13g, and off-line transaction data is stored there. Stored contents in the off-line transaction storage area M2 are transmitted to the center at the time of the line is restored, and this area is cleared thereafter.
