Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the engaging structure of a compression rod and a positioning pin in an automatic transmission operating device that can reduce cost and improve assemblage.
CONSTITUTION: In an automatic transmission operating device for an automobile, an axial hole 8b is bored in the lower end part of a compression rod 8 and communicated with a pin fit-in hole 8c for inserting a positioning pin, and the end part of a coil spring 24 mounted to the lower end part of the compression rod 8 is drawn into the pin fit-in hole 89c from the axial hole 8b and engaged with an engaging groove provided at the positioning pin 4.
