Abstract:
To prevent a delay of action in a hydraulic mechanism, by efficiently removing a component of air in an operating fluid before it is supplied to the hydraulic mechanism, in an automatic transmission.
This automatic transmission comprises a hydraulic mechanism 1 driving an operating part, a pump 4 supplying an operating fluid to the hydraulic mechanism 1, and a gas separator device 7 separating an air component in side the operating fluid. This gas separator device 7 is arranged between the hydraulic mechanism 1 and the pump 4.
