Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the axial displacement of a clutch drum without increasing costs and man-hours.
SOLUTION: A spline 45 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the carrier B42 of a first planetary gear mechanism G1 and the clutch drum 50 of a first clutch C1 has a spline 75 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the end of a hub part 52, the spline 75 meshing with the spline 45. The spline 75 is formed by cutting and has a raised part 77 at its terminal. When the clutch drum 50 is displaced from its set position toward an intermediate partition wall 2 by a predetermined amount, the inclined face of the raised part 77 of the spline on the hub part abuts against the bore part 44 of a carrier B.
