Abstract:
To decrease weight, and to reduce cost, and moreover to prevent the occurrence of breather blow.
An automatic transmission has a speed change gear; a counter drive gear 24 and a counter driven gear 25; an automatic transmission case 18 which encloses the speed change gear and has a rear support for rotabably supporting the counter drive gear 24 and the counter driven gear 25 at an end part on a rear side; and a rear cover which is formed by press-forming and fixed to an end part on the rear side of the case 18, and forms a space for accommodating the gears 24, 25 in cooperation with the rear support. An oil control section P3 is formed in a domain on a side upstream than an engaging part P1 in each rotational direction of the gears 24, 25.
