Abstract:
PURPOSE: To tie a large article to be tied at a high speed by a method wherein when the end of a tape is fed between internal and external surface side guide members by a tape feeding mechanism, the tape is carried under a condition wherein the tape end part is slid on the guide surface of the external surface side guide member by a pinching means of a loop-forming mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: The end part of a tape T which is fed through a guide member 37 is fed to a feeding side guide end part 411a of a guide surface 411 of an external surface side guide member 410, and is pinched between the feeding side guide end part 411a and a first pressing member 441 which constitutes a pinching means. Under this condition, a loop-forming work is started, the tape T is fed by the driving of a pair of rollers 34. At the same time, a rotating drum is rotated counterclockwise by the power of a driving source, and first and second pressing members 441, 442 of the pinching means drive the end part of the tape T counterclockwise, and the forming of a loop L is started. That is, the end part of the tape T slides on the guide surface 411, and is pulled out counterclockwise, and the tape T is wound around a rolling roller 421, and thus, the loop L is formed.
