Abstract:
PURPOSE: To assure a flaw detecting range for pipings having intricate shapes by forming a driving device so as to serve also as an arm.
CONSTITUTION: Two pieces of tracks 11a, 11b are mounted in parallel to an elbow piping 8 by means of track holders 9 and ribs 10, and a driving device 4 is mounted to the respective tracks by means of driving rolls 13 and auxiliary rolls 12a, 12b. The device 4 mounted to the tracks 11a, 11b by means of the rolls 13, 12a, 12b travels between the tracks 11a, 11b when the rolls 13 rotate. This device 4 has a probe 7 through a cylinder and the probe 7 detects the flaws of the piping 8 as it travels in the device 4.
