PURPOSE: To improve the universality and the operation characteristic of a system by updating resource information held by each processor automatically in the case of changing the constitution of the system.

CONSTITUTION: When the resource information 41 is changed due to the change of the constitution of the processor 11, a resource information managing means 51 transmits the changed content of the resource information storage means 41 to the processors 12 and 13 by using a transmission means 61. The resource information managing means 52 and 53 of the processors 12 and 13 store the transmitted content of the resource information storage means 41 in resource information storage means 42 and 43 by using receiving/updating means 72 and 73, respectively. Application programs 82 and 83 in the processors 12 and 13 make access to resources by using newly updated resource information storage means 42 and 43. In such a way, it is possible to improve the universality and the operation characteristic of the system without necessitating inquiry to another processor.
