An automatic valve device 10 for water spray, which supplies fire extinguishing water to a prescribed number of water spray nozzles arranged at prescribed interval in the tunnel and allows the nozzles to spray water, includes: a storage box 11 to be embedded and arranged in a storage space which is shaped in the wall surface of the tunnel; and a plurality of automatic valves horizontally arranged inside the storage box 11, so as to supply the fire extinguishing water to the plurality of water spray nozzles and to spray the water. Two automatic valves 12-1, 12-2, for example, each of which has a small bore being substantially a half of the bore of a single automatic valve for supplying fire extinguishing water collectively to the prescribed number of water spray nozzles, are horizontally arranged inside the storage box 11.
