To maintain or enhance user's health.SOLUTION: An automatic vending machine 10 capable of vending a plurality of mutually different articles comprises: identifying means (104) for identifying a user based upon identification information read out of a storage medium or portable terminal that the user carries; and first permitting means (107) for permitting a first article group as a group of predetermined articles among a plurality of articles to be provided based upon information associated with qualification to purchase that the user identified by the identifying means has. Further, the automatic vending machine 10 comprises: second permitting means (109) for permitting a second article group different from the first article group to be provided when information used for health management on the user identified by the identifying means meets predetermined conditions; and notifying means (203) for notifying the user that at least the second article group among the plurality of articles can be provided when the second article group permitting means permits the provision.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
