Title:
AUTOMATIC VENDING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013191131
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To appropriately determine timing of lighting/lights-out of night illumination according to ambient lightness of an automatic vending machine without using an illuminance sensor in the automatic vending machine with a solar panel.

The automatic vending machine includes: a solar panel 1 generating power by sunlight; a battery 2 for storing the power generated by the solar panel 1; a first detecting unit 4 for detecting generated electricity of the solar panel 1; a lighting device 6 for illuminating a commodity sample exhibit chamber; and a control device 5 that, when the generated electricity detected by the first detecting unit 4 becomes first prescribed electricity or less, supplies the lighting device 6 with the power of the battery 2. This configuration dispenses with an illuminance sensor, and, by effectively using the solar panel 1, appropriately determines the timing of lighting/lights-off of the night illumination by the lighting device 6 according to the ambient lightness of the automatic vending machine by a simple configuration.
