Abstract:
PURPOSE:To take a still picture of a moving body with simple constitution by branching part of light from a light emitting element to the light receiving element of a still picture pickup camera and outputting one picture when the light receiving element does not detect the light from the light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:The still picture pickup camera 1 is provided with a CCD image pickup element pickup element 10 behind an optical system lens 14 and a half- mirror 20 is provided between them so that the light from the light emitting element 5 which is entered from a lens 14 is branched upward and detected by the light receiving element 19. Then when a body 16 is conveyed by a conveyor 7 to cut off the light from the element 5, the element 9 detects that and outputs its detection signal to a controller 16, which supplied an image readout trigger to a driver 15. The driver 15 transfers charges accumulated at the image pickup part 11 of the CCD 10 to a storage part 12 at specific intervals of time based on the signal. At this time, charges are cleared in a cycle of specific time and charges accumulated during the period from the clearing to the end of the cycle are transferred. The charges at the storage part 12 are outputted, line by line, by a horizontal shift register 13. Thus, a picture which is free of a camera shake is obtained.
