Abstract:
To provide an automatic voltage regulator that suppresses overshoot when establishing voltage in a generator, and can also prevent a malfunction in an undervoltage relay.
The output signal of a timer for measuring time from when the establishment of the voltage is started in a synchronous generator rises up to the target value of a generator voltage in a ramp shape between the instant of 0 and the instant of a first time setting value. After that, a voltage command signal for maintaining the value is outputted, thus suppressing not only the response speed of the synchronous generator, but also voltage overshoot when the voltage is established.
