Abstract:
To stably control a terminal voltage of a synchronous generator.SOLUTION: An automatic voltage regulating device according to an embodiment comprises: a rectifier that generates a field voltage that is applied to field winding of a synchronous generator; a switching element that switches on/off the field voltage; a capacitor that absorbs a surge voltage generated by switching on/off by the switching element; a terminal voltage detection circuit that detects a terminal voltage of the synchronous generator; a terminal voltage command value output circuit that outputs a terminal voltage command value of the synchronous generator; a field voltage command value output circuit that compares the terminal voltage with the terminal voltage command value and outputs a field voltage command value on the basis of the compared result; a correction circuit that corrects the field voltage command value on the basis of a correction function and outputs the corrected field voltage command value; a comparison circuit that compares the corrected field voltage command value with a carrier wave and outputs a rectangular wave signal on the basis of the compared result; and a gate drive circuit that controls the switching on/off by the switching element, on the basis of the rectangular wave signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
